I woke up and realized that today I would have to serve my detention with Ms. Fields after school. I didn't think of it as much of a problem because I planned to go to Milwee afterwards. The day started off fine, I even got to Alpha period fairly early for a change. About five minutes into the class I realized that I forgot my Romeo and Juliet notes(the reason I had a detention)! I figured, 'Oh well, what can she do about it...I only skipped three questions.' Alpha passed rather quickly, and B.S.T. started. For those of you have don't have B.S.T., it is an extremely useless and very easy class that shouldn't be required. We had a substitute, a Ms. Monroe(or so she said), and we watched a movie, The Outsiders. Towards the end of the movie she was rambling on about the person who wrote the acutal book and how she didn't know the person's name. As the credits were rolling she walked up to the screen and said, 'Did it say who wrote the book?', I thought I would be nice so I said, 'S.E. Hinton.' Well, she ignored me and said, 'Guess not.' Oh well... Break started...and then it ended. Then, Eaton. Any day with Eaton is a bad day. Her and her new lesbian look. Fifth period came, bored me to a state of semi-consciousness and then ended, much to everyone's delight. I waited five minutes and then Nicole and I went to detention, where Anna sat already started on her notes. I told Fields my predicament, and she, surprisingly, told me to do only the three questions I skipped on the notes. After Nicole, Anna, and I finished our notes/'detention', we went over to Milwee. Before we left Ms. Fields told us to tell Ms. Deptula 'Hello', although they've never met...
On our way over, I almost stepped on dead bird, but instead I tripped around it. After that I saw a rock and tripped over that too. When we finally got to Milwee we went to the office to sign in and get passes, but no! Ms. Hennesy, the front office lady, told us to wait until 'ten till'(note: it was 3:15-20). So we were standing there, and standing there, and standing there, until the bookeeper lady told us to go sit down. Sure, no problem...or so we thought. On our way over to the chairs Ms. Hennesy said 'You're going to have to wait outside or you'll get arrested.' Oooooooooooooook. On our way out the nurse lady tells us 'It's called trespassing.'(Well thank you for that! I got into high school without knowing basic vocabulary, and you are here to help me, you Human Dictionary, you!) So we went outside and after endless minutes of standing in the sun Anna noticed I was standing in an anthill(Yippee!). So after beating them off of my pants and shoes, Milwee's crack security team(an old man) walked over to the gate and locked it. After more minutes of standing and wise-cracks, we went to the other gate and walked through the parking lot to spend a mind-blowing ten minutes in Ms. Deptula's class(she's blond(e) now, I didn't know that...). After everybody left, I wasn't sure if my mom was picking me up at Lyman or Milwee, so I walked to the front of Milwee and stood there thinking about what to do...I eventually left for Lyman, but not before some hillbilly passers-by cursed at me. On my way there(about in front of the TEXACO) I noticed my mom drive past me(YAY!). I stopped heading for the back of Lyman and started for the front parking lot, where I finally caught my mom before she drove out...(the kicker; when I got in the car she said she was over at Milwee!).
This, indeed, was one hell of a day, and I can tell it was going to be the beginning of a very long and annoying four-day weekend(Passover, supposed to have no bread for eight days, WOOO!). Interpret as you will, but I have decided that the last thing I'm going to do from now on is forget to answer all of the Romeo and Juliet study questions before I get to Fields...
